I was initially referred to DJ Derek by my wedding planner as we were looking for someone to handle mics and speakers during the ceremony. We ended up booking D Street Entertainment for both our ceremony sound production and cocktail hour music, and we're so glad we did.

DJ Derek was extremely kind, communicative, and easy to work with. He was also very knowledgeable about what our venue would require. For cocktail hour, he really listened to the vibe we wanted and customized the playlist perfectly.

Ceremony sound and cocktail-hour music are easy details to overlook, but they add so much to the experience. DJ Derek and D Street Entertainment made everything run seamlessly, and we're incredibly appreciative. Highly recommend!

D Street Entertainment went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding reception. We had the pleasure of working with Derek, and he had everyone dancing from the beginning of our event! Music was our biggest priority, so we felt some initial nerves, but after spending an hour speaking directly with our DJ, we felt completely at ease knowing he understood our vision and would deliver. He knows music and seamlessly transitioned between songs. Derek made our night very special with so many unforgettable moments. We truly got lucky and have found our DJ for all future events! D Street was awesome. Derek was super friendly, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. He was very supportive of our vision for the wedding -- my wife and I are big music fans and had specific ideas for cocktail hour, must-plays, etc. He was great keeping the dance floor going and kept the room full of energy. On a personal level, he was also just very kind... he's a vinyl guy and I'm a vinyl guy, so we had a lot to talk about. We got so many compliments from our guests about how great the DJ was. Highly recommend!

Best Wedding DJ Ever!

We used D Street Entertainment for our wedding ceremony and reception. They exceeded our expectations! From the audio support during our ceremony, to our cocktail hour and reception. Derek has a talent of "reading the room" and providing guests exactly what they want. The energy and excitement on the dance floor continued all evening long!

I highly recommend using D Street Entertainment to be your DJ for your event! They handled the music for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. My husband and I picked the music for ceremony but only gave guidance for what to play for each event the rest of the night, and they nailed it. They knew just what music to pick to fit the mood. DJ Derek B and emcee a.y.c.e did an amazing job engaging the crowd and keeping them on the dance floor during the reception. The photo booth they supplied was also a huge hit. We got so many compliments telling us how fun our wedding was and how great they were. I'm so thankful to D Street for making our wedding so fun and memorable!

We loved D Street Entertainment!!! They worked with us on rescheduling, they answered every question timely, they timed our songs exactly how we requested to match our vision of our special day. Derek has been super fun and we even have scheduled him for other events. If you think you don't need an MC, think again! Ace was amazing in hyping up the crowd, cheering everyone on and I couldn't have asked for a better group pf men for our day. We do not have one complaint!
